Tokens that keep evolving, with stock-market safety
Ignition is a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Every token is a fixed-supply ERC20 trading on a real Uniswap v4 pool from its first block. Its rules live in a hook whose logic can be upgraded, so a token can gain features after launch without a migration, a new contract or new liquidity.
Direct launch: a real Uniswap v4 pool from block one
A direct launch mints the whole supply straight into a Uniswap v4 pool: no curve, no "graduation", and no liquidity needed from the creator. It trades from any wallet or router immediately, and the price comes from ordinary pool math that anyone can verify on-chain.
Bonding curve launch: graduate into a locked pool
The other way to launch. The whole 1,000,000,000 supply starts on the token's own bonding curve, and nobody, the creator included, holds any before trading opens.
- The price rises as people buy and falls as they sell. Anyone can always sell back to the curve.
- When 4.2 ETH has been raised it graduates, in the same transaction as the buy that finishes it: everything moves into a Uniswap v4 pool at the curve's last price, with liquidity locked forever.
- From then on it's an ordinary Ignition launch: Stock Mode, creator fees, Hook Modules, renames and pair switching.
- Launch protection: buys in the first 5 seconds pay a tax that starts at 97% and drops to 0, so sniping the opening isn't worth it. The creator's own opening buy happens in the launch transaction and is exempt.
- Fees are 2% in ETH, on the curve and after graduation alike: buys 1% to the creator and 1% to the platform, sells to the platform.
- Safety valve: if a sold-out curve ever fails to graduate for a week, anyone can reopen it for sells so every holder can get out.
No price ceiling
New launches spread their liquidity to the end of Uniswap's price curve, so there's no market cap where buying stops working. Older launches had a fixed range with a top. Anyone can remove that ceiling for good with the No Price Ceiling lock on the token's page: permanent liquidity to the end of the curve that can never be withdrawn.
Stock Mode: circuit breakers for memecoins
Stock exchanges stop crashes with "limit up / limit down" bands. Ignition tokens have them on-chain:
- No burst of trades can drop the price more than 20% under its recent high.
- No burst can more than double it from its recent low.
- After that, moves are paced to at most 20% down or 2x up per 5 minutes.
- Selling is never blocked, only paced. Room reopens continuously.
The result: a whale can't dump a token in one block, and a sniper can't 10x a fresh launch in one transaction. In a test on a mainnet fork, one wallet selling 30% of a token's supply crashed it 64% in one block without Stock Mode. With it, the same exit took about 18 minutes and never fell more than 20% at once, so holders had time to react.
Stock Mode limits a token's own price moves. It doesn't guarantee a price, and a determined seller can still exit, just not all at once.
Trade against stocks
A token's owner can switch what it trades against, from ETH to any tokenized stock with an on-chain market (NVDA, TSLA and more), as easily as renaming it. Buyers can pay with ETH or the stock: trades are routed through ETH on the deepest market in one all-or-nothing transaction. Liquidity and balances are never moved by a switch.
Upgradeable, without migrating
Each token's hook points at an implementation its owner can upgrade. The pool, the token contract, every balance and every liquidity position stay exactly where they are. That's how existing tokens get new features, such as switchable pairs, Stock Mode and modules, by opting in. Owners can also rename the token and, for launches from factory V3 on, hand the whole launch to a new owner.
Holders are protected. Tokens launched from 17 October 2026 can only move to an implementation Ignition has approved (V11 today): their owner can rename them, change the ticker and switch the pair, but can never install their own trading code, so nobody can block buys or sells. The site hides any older token whose owner pointed its hook at code that isn't an Ignition release, and warns on its page.
| V2–V4 | Launch on a real pool; creator and platform fees |
| V5–V7 | Alliances and Mitosis (token splits), plus security fixes |
| V8 | Switchable pairs: trade against any tokenized stock |
| V9 | Platform fee paid on every trade; first Stock Mode (paused before any token used it) |
| V10 | Stock Mode, fixed after our own audit |
| V11 | Hook Modules: Holder Staking and third-party modules |
| V12 | Every fee paid in ETH, never the token; no price ceiling on any new launch |
| V13 | Anti-vamp: verify your X, flagged copies stop paying and their buys switch off; holders can always sell (current) |
Hook Modules
On V11, a token's owner can switch on up to two modules from a curated list. Each module earns up to 0.25% of every trade on that token, paid out of the platform's share. Traders pay the same 2% and creators keep their 1%.
Modules never run inside a trade: their share is paid into a vault during the trade, and their logic runs separately. So no module can block a sell or change a price, and Stock Mode stays on underneath.
The first module is Holder Staking: stake a token and earn its module share of every trade, in ETH and the token, with no lockup. Developers can build their own modules and earn from every token that runs them; see the developer guide.
Fees: fixed and published
| Every trade | 2% (the same on every token, fixed) |
| Buys | 1% to the token's creator, 1% to the platform |
| Sells | 2% to the platform |
| Paid in | ETH (or the stock on a stock pair), never the token: every launch since V12. Earlier tokens take the buy fee in the token |
| Hook Modules | up to 0.25% each, out of the platform's share (traders and creators pay nothing extra) |
| Hard cap | 3%, in the contract: no version can charge more |
| Launch fee | 0.001 ETH |
The creator's share collects on the token's page, where they can claim it any time.
How it's tested
- Every contract change ships with tests: unit tests, fuzz tests of the core promises (for example, that no sequence of trades beats Stock Mode's limits) and tests on a fork of Robinhood Chain mainnet using real tokens and real pools.
- Before the site uses a new deployment, its on-chain bytecode is checked byte-for-byte against the tested build.
- We audit our own work and publish what we find. The first Stock Mode version (V9) had an edge case, found in our own review before any token used it: shaped liquidity could block buys on a brand-new launch. We paused it and fixed it in V10, and the attack is now a permanent test.
- The contracts have not had an external third-party audit. Trade with that in mind: Ignition is live with real funds.
